The Doctors

I love this show! There is always great insight on things we all need to know. Today the Doctors talked about what workouts are the best for your body type. We all have different body types and it is important to know what body type we have so we can find an exercise that will help us reach our goal.
Hear about it here.

Also, check out those BIKES. Wouldn't those be a great addition to a gym!

Chicago Marathon

After a summer with a sprained ankle I was worried about training and running a marathon in the fall. But, I did it! I completed my 2nd marathon in October. You can do anything you set your mind to do.

wish I found this earlier!

I found this great article on how to rehabilitate a sprained ankle. It has been over 3 week since I sprained ankle and it is still swollen and feels weak. I tried to run on the grass and the uneven grass was difficult on my ankle. I really need to get the strength back in my ankle before I feel I can return to play soccer again. I wish I would have found the article earlier. But, better late than never.

Week 2

I finished my 2 weeks of NO CARBS and NO SUGAR challenge.

I must confess...I missed one day (Saturday) I had sugar and carbs :( But, got back on track the next day. So I completed 13 days!!

I lost 2 more pounds this week.

So a total of 5 pounds in 2 weeks!!

I am going to continue for a little while longer since I no longer have the "carb and sugar cravings". I will document my results as I progress.

The best part about this 2 week trial is I feel liberated. I don't feel I need that carb or sugar boost for energy. My energy levels returned without having to carbo load with pasta.
